I have a BFA in Graphics & Interactive Design from West Chester University (2022) but working on a computer all day is challenging for me due to my chronic health conditions. During the summer following my junior year at West Chester, I added a minor degree in Museum Studies, and absolutely fell in love with museum work. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, my family visited the amazing museums of the city on a regular basis. Combining my love of art, my graphics background, and museum studies, I decided to pursue a B.S. in Art Education in Alternative Settings with a concentration in textiles at Kutztown University following graduation from WCU. I have been fortunate to intern at both the West Chester University Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology as well as the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, which is affiliated with Kutztown University. I will graduate in May, 2024 and plan to pursue a career in a museum setting.

During my museum internships, I have experienced a wide variety of research, collecting, photographing, cataloguing, and documenting collections. I have also set up exhibits, created and restored logos, and provided museum tours.

My art and graphic design experience ranges from working on illustrations, branding, painting, sewing, needle felting, quilting, and hand painting a few commission items. My personal art style leans towards a modern twist on vintage or colorful psychedelia pieces. Even though these are my preferred concentrations I am can accommodate other styles as well.

In my free time you can usually find me playing with my two Golden Retrievers (Kodi and Kip) or playing video games. I am a big supporter of Invisible Disability awareness (having four of my own) and am extremely accommodating and hope you are the same.
